Ceramic Coating
A ceramic coating is protection applied on top of properly prepared paint. It makes the finish easier to wash, adds gloss and holds up far better than a traditional wax through Jersey Shore summers and salted winter roads. We quote coatings for customers across Monmouth and Ocean County, New Jersey after the paint has been assessed.
How we approach coatings
- Paint assessed for suitability before anything is quoted
- Decontamination and prep work confirmed during the consultation
- Coating options discussed based on the car and how it is used
- Protection duration and aftercare explained in person
We don't quote coverage sight-unseen. Prep is most of the work, and what a coating can deliver depends entirely on the condition of the paint underneath it.
Coating vs. wax vs. a full detail
A full detail cleans and restores a car inside and out. A wax adds gloss and a few weeks of protection. A ceramic coating bonds to prepared paint and lasts far longer, but it is not a substitute for the cleaning and correction work underneath — it locks in whatever condition the paint is in, good or bad.
Living with a coated car
Coated paint still needs washing, just less often and with less effort. Dirt and water release more easily, bug splatter and bird droppings are less likely to etch if dealt with promptly, and the finish keeps its depth for longer. We walk you through aftercare when the work is done.
